Curcio Trasporti e Servizi Srl has implemented actions in line with 6 of the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) recognised by the United Nations. It has placed priority on the development of human resources and the promotion of a corporate welfare culture, with the aim of promoting sustainable, equitable economic growth based on effective and transparent governance.






The organisation has a medium/long-term plan to reduce its energy consumption, in particular: it carries out awareness-raising activities for drivers on engine idling management and encourages the use of electric vehicles for business relations with customers and suppliers.
Curcio uses packaging made from recycled and resistant materials in order to organise loads in line with the objective of reducing the overall load and vehicle capacity in the most sustainable way possible.

Curcio has implemented initiatives to reduce its environmental impact: for example, it has installed heat pumps and solar collectors at a cost of around €300,000.

Curcio began its journey towards improving the efficiency of its corporate fleet by introducing new alternative fuel trucks (e.g. electric company cars) and increasing the use of HVO to power its fleet.

Curcio plans to expand its photovoltaic system by covering the roof of its new workshop premises with photovoltaic panels.
